Bloom Narratives is a private practice based out of Airdrie, Alberta. We specialize in working with individuals and their families to achieve optimal health and wellness in all areas of their lives. Our mission is to help our community find healing through therapy, coaching, and education in a safe space where each individual feels seen, heard, respected, and understood.
We are a growing practice and constantly looking for new amazing clinicians to add to our team. While we understand and value that clinicians have different specialties, it is important that anyone who joins our team is committed to anti-oppressive practice and social justice as that forms the foundational principles of our practice.
An independent contractor is autonomous in how, where, and when they provide services to Bloom. With this in mind, we are looking for an independent contractor that fits our specific needs as a company.
As an Independent Contractor, you have the opportunity to work with an array of clients to help them holistically work towards optimal health and wellness. As an Independent Contractor, you will have the full autonomy and flexibility to practice within your scope.
What will you do?
Work with clients to assess their health needs & personal goals and develop appropriate treatment plans to work towards their short and long-term goals.
Therapists will perform psychosocial interventions (they must have a regulatory college they are in good standing with and be authorized to perform restricted activities).
Write appropriate documentation and reports as per Bloom Narratives policies and the client’s unique needs.
Participate with the team at Bloom Narratives, and support a positive and person-centered work environment using ethical and anti-oppressive frameworks.

What is required?
Current registration with your professional college in good standing.
3 years post-grad experience in your chosen field.
Minimum $2,000,000 personal liability coverage.
The ability to work autonomously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A proactive and accountable attitude, highly ethical with strong organizational and self-management attributes.
Commit to seeing up to 10 clients per week or 2 shifts per week (evenings are in highest demand). Our current clients prefer a blend of online and in-person sessions, so it would be an asset if the contractor would utilize our office space for providing services to clients.
