Compassionate Therapy for Complex Lives
I’m Sharla—a Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting children, youth, and adults through anxiety, trauma, burnout, ADHD, and the quiet exhaustion of trying to hold it all together.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both compassion and evidence-based care. I use therapies like EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to help clients move through stuck stories and into more sustainable ways of living
Therapy with me is about reconnecting—with your story, your worth, and your needs. I ask thoughtful questions to help us make sense of what’s shaped you and where you want to go. You’ll be met with curiosity, humour, and zero judgment.
We’ll also name the systems that have made things harder—like perfectionism, shame, or the pressure to perform—and work together to create space for something better.
I use a flexible mix of Narrative Therapy, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, play and art-based therapy, mindfulness, and more—tailored to fit your unique needs.
