ABOUT
Meet Patience Owan, MSWRSW
Compassionate. Collaborative. Here to walk beside you.
When life feels overwhelming, confusing, or heavy, it helps to have someone in your corner who truly gets it—and who knows how to guide you through. Patience Owan is a Master’s-level Registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting people from all walks of life. She brings warmth, skill, and a trauma-informed lens to every session.
Patience helps individuals, couples, and families navigate a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, addiction, depression, stress, parenting concerns, trauma, burnout, and low self-esteem. Whether you’re feeling stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by daily demands, or simply unsure of where to start, she offers a safe, non-judgmental space to begin the work of healing and growth.
Her approach is practical, strengths-based, and deeply collaborative. Drawing from modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, Patience helps clients make sense of their experiences and develop real-life tools that lead to meaningful change.
What sets Patience apart is her ability to hold space for complexity. She understands that healing is never one-size-fits-all—and she’s committed to helping you uncover what works best for you. Whether you're navigating current stressors or long-standing wounds, she offers steady support as you move toward the version of yourself you’ve always hoped to become.
