Episode 8: Creativity…The Perfect Escape for Busy Women

Creativity is a habit that can be developed through practice. Building this skill into your daily routine helped both of us and many others that we know become more productive and successful in their work

Creative thinking has been shown to help people come up with new ideas, whether you're trying to solve a mystery about why something happened or just need some fresh perspective on what needs to be done around the house!

Remember these 4 tips:

  1. Capture your new ideas. You can capture your new ideas with a simple voice note on our phone app. It's like having an brainstorming session in the palm of your hand

  2. Seek out challenging tasks. When you're stuck and need a break, take on projects that don't necessarily have an answer—such as trying to figure out how your dog flies or building models of the brain. This causes old ideas like "this is impossible" competition with new ones because they compete in our minds which helps generate more creative solutions!

  3. Broaden your knowledge. There are always new things to learn and understand. The more you know, the better equipped we will be for life's adventures

  4. Surround yourself with interesting things and people. There are so many interesting and creative people out there who can teach us something new every day! I'm always on the lookout for talented artists, writers, or designers that might share their work with me - it really pays off when they open my eyes to what was previously unknown about them (and vice versa!).
